This is a fully differentiated lesson planned for the new functional skills reform for level one and level two. The lesson helps students to recall the key language techniques needed in their writing and how to adapt tone to different audiences. Students will then be given an opportunity to consolidate their learning with an exam-style question.

This is a fully differentiated lesson looking focusing on the character of Poole in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The lesson works well for revision as it tests learner’s ability to recall the key chapters within the novella and they key events. The lesson moves on to look at the theme of good and evil and how this is conveyed in key sections of the text. The lesson works well both face-to-face as well as online and have been tried and tested with my own groups.
